Title: Test XIDU PhilBook Max Convertible: Dark touch screen and little performance
Post by: Redaktion on September 27, 2019, 15:43:23
The PhilBook Max is a 14.1 inch convertible for just over 400 euros. The equipment is fine, but the manufacturer XIDU unfortunately relies on a dark display and a slow Celeron processor.

How the hell does this get a rating of 74%?

Notebookcheck editors, have some respect for yourselves and rate it much lower if necessary. 74% is well above passing grade.

From the title this should be getting 50%.

70% mean "very very bad", 90% mean "very very good" :)
the problem is not the short scale but parameter weights.
some things like screen brightness and noise level should be way more valuable bc they affects you all the time and its true for all users.

The bad display is rated at 74%. They just suck at rating it that's all.
