New concept renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have emerged online. They envision the smartphone to employ an unusually large 200MP sensor, complete with Olympus branding. S-Pen support is touted, too, along with an under-display selfie camera.

Seeing how the 9-in-1 Nona Bayer pixel binning works on that 108MP sensor with Samsung's image software processing algorithm, frankly I'm not that hyped with the upcoming 200MP sensor. I'd rather have a native RGB sensor with great optics and realistic image software processing. That is why both the 2012 Nokia 808 PureView and the 2013 Nokia Lumia 1020 can still beat modern smartphones of today despite the hardware advancement.
