"New products must support touch"

This is extremely worrying. There are already way too many glossy ultrabooks (and other relatively mobile laptops) on the market and this will only push that trend even more, even outside of the ultrabook space (as if manufacturers don't make too many glossy laptops as it is!).

There are still many of us who don't want to pay extra money for a touchscreen - this is a big downside... we want more high-quality matte displays !!! Will we see any more great mobile machines like the standard Zenbook UX31A if it can no longer be marketed as an "ultrabook"? Why, oh why, must you make this a requirement, Intel? GRRRRRRRRR

I went into a BestBuy two weeks ago and the majority of laptops and ultrabooks on display were glossy anyway.
