Just as rumored ever since Tesla introduced insurance incentives which amounted to a de facto Model 3 and Model Y price cut, the company actually slashed the starting tag of its electric vehicles in the most competitive market for them, China. The Model 3/Y price reduction is more than 9% there. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Tesla-cuts-Model-3-and-Model-Y-prices-in-the-world-s-most-competitive-EV-market-by-nearly-10-and-offers-free-colors.663841.0.html
Tesla as cool as they are have RAISED prices TEN TIMES in the US. China can suckit.
Is Tesla going to cut prices in the US too? We really want to buy the Model Y but it's too expensive.
Tesla will not and should not lower prices in the U.S. because supply can't keep up with demand and that dictates fair and proper pricing economics. I didn't realize there were enough Chinese people in China that could afford any car let alone to make it the #1 E.V. market in the world.
Not true. Just went to the website and built one in red. $2k for the color, $51k for the car
