The 2022 MacBook Pro is now official with many QoL upgrades, including a brand new M2 processor, a MagSafe connector, and a 59 Wh battery. It also supports ProRes encode/decode and has an active cooling fan. The laptop will hit shelves next month starting at US$1,299.

Does the M2 MBP 13 have a notch?
Someone has said that no - but I cannot be sure yet. If so, I think it is ONLY the 13" MBP without notch.

You can be certain - it does have a notch. Just look at the press release - it's clearly visible.
My bad, those pictures are MBA. I can't find a single picture of the MBP13 with a notch and also the quoted resolution is conventional (1600 vertical; the Air has 1664) - indicating that there is no notch.
It looks like they reused the shell, possibly including the display. Which also means that it's the only MacBook with a touchbar.
And no MagSafe. For me, a Touch Bar + no MagSafe would be tough to swallow. I will take a notch instead. The area around the notch is added extra so you aren't loosing any real estate compared to a no-notch configuration if you get rid of it via software (if it bothers you so much). That's why the display is 13.6 instead of 13.3.
