HP says the new sensors are a first for any gaming laptop for more accurate skin temperature readings, steadier fan noise, and improved performance overall.

Don't see any AMD options when trying to configure, would be the only reason I would be interested in one.
Is that option for a later release?
Read on google search: Pre-config AMDs on Bestbuy now, available on HP June 10-> also comes in silver and ?gimped to 1660Ti
lol 16:9... Is it still 2010?
AMD with OLED? 8)
TKL on laptop? :)
One can dream, right? ;D
Well, looking at the AMD version of the landing page... 144hz 1080P and 2060 are the limit.
www(dot)omen(dot)com/us/en/laptops/2020-omen-15-amd.html
The display option is listed as: 15.6-inch diagonal FHD, 144 Hz, IPS, anti-glare, micro-edge, WLEDbacklit, 300 nits, 72% NTSC (1920 x 1080)8, 9
idk honestly...
$1250 for the 4800H + 1660 ti is kind of meh when the RP-15 with 4800H + boosted 2060 can be had for $1200. HP laptops, including the Omen lineup, historically aren't very good thermally.
it does have a bigger battery, but thats at the expense of weight which is 5.5lbs. pretty sure you can upgrade to 62 wh anyway on the rp-15, which should put it very close to the omen.

never mind the flickering & color variance depending on brightness, why would you want OLED on Windows which is full of static images?
