Title: Huawei MateBook 13 (i7, UHD Graphics 620) Laptop Review
Post by: Redaktion on June 04, 2019, 23:02:33
The most powerful configuration of the MateBook 13 cut a fine figure in our review.  Those who do not need a dedicated graphics card can get the Huawei subnotebook for a bit cheaper. In this review, we shall reveal what users can expect from the lower-priced version that does not have a dedicated GPU.

The 3:2 display aspect ratio was is main feature why I got it, the stupid 16:9 format that turns the laptop into a video player only.

I have the cheaper i5/256 GB SSD non-touch version, fortunately the display doesn't have such bad backlight bleeding. As for the fan noise, there is an easy fix. Tape the cooling holes right above the fans by two small 20 mm wide tapes. It won't affect the cooling and the high pitched noise is gone at all.

Hi,

I can't stand PWM even with high frequency and the Matebook 13 with intel hd graphic has PWM under 30% brightness and the one with Geforce mx150 not.

But is it because of the Geforce mx150 vs Intel HD or because of the touchscreen ?? Because the European Intel graphic version in the review has no touchscreen.

I can buy for work a matebook 13 i7 512 Go with intel HD graphic but WITH touchscreen.

Can someone please tell me if i 'll have PWN or not ?

Thanks
