Title: Schenker XMG Fusion 15 (Mid 22) in review: Lightweight RTX 3070 laptop with good battery life
Post by: Redaktion on August 24, 2022, 21:16:40
The Core i7-11800H CPU and the GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU bring all the latest games smoothly onto the matte QHD screen (165 Hz). This is complemented by a mechanical keyboard, good battery life, and a Thunderbolt 4 port.

Too expensive(with even a year old CPU) but praise for full power RTX3070.

I noticed that the 11800H had a weak value in Cinebench R23 Multi.

Acer Predator Helios here are at same value with 12700H albeit with 16GB RAM.

Would be perfect with a CPU generation bump and a taller aspect ratio display. Clevo is egregiously overdue for 16:10.

Also a second Thunderbolt port would be nice (edit: or even just a non-thunderbolt USB-C with DisplayPort).

Nice to see double ssd ports, good battery life and a RTX 9070.

Would seriously consider if it had a display with slightly more accurate colors and better brightness.

Yeah a laptop of this price should have at least 100% sRGB.

I have the barebone version of this laptop and I can confirm it does have VRR/adaptive sync support, just through igpu. Intel has been selling this barebone at a very impressive price point recently.
