A new Twitter post about the upcoming Sony Xperia 5 V should slightly please those on the lookout for a compact smartphone. It appears the 2023 model will be more compressed than the Xperia 5 IV, but the predicted shrinkage is pretty much a minimal amount. The Xperia 5 V will likely be a prime example of the current definition of a compact phone.

Xperia XZ2 Compact was 5, Z5 Compact was 4.6 inches. I know, cos I had them both...
