Apple plans to unveil the AirTags and its 2021 iPad Pro refresh, according to new reports. Possibly launching simultaneously, rumours about the pair have been circulating for months.

Now that Mac's are moving to Apple silicon it's making the iPad Pro look like a worse value over say a M1 Macbook Air. Even if Apple bumps up specs on the iPad Pro I think its is being over shadowed by the new Mac's. There is so little separation in the Mac and iPad lineups now. The iPad Air is basically at iPad Pro levels, the MacBook Air basically best the iPad Pro unless you need a touch screen. The blurring of these product lines doesn't help Apple in the long run. Separation makes products stand out individually. Apple has made a mess out of their product lineups.
Well said John. Apple seem to continuously push the iPad Pro as a 'laptop replacement' but hard to see this succeeding in the long run with how good the M1 laptops are. However, Apple has their customers right where they want - in their pockets. Their phones have that ridiculous notch, slow charging, no 120hz refresh, no onscreen fingerprint reader, etc but they still sell tens of millions of units. Should I talk about the Air Pods Max?

So what do want !? is there anything better than can apple do regarding the iPad to satisfy you? The Ipad pro is already at its highest state for god's sake. The Macbook Air is there too, and you ARE wrong, there is a clear separation: like the Touch, display+ touch interface layout( those are not the same) plus the portability and small compact size of the iPad, are those not enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
