Although the game is scheduled to arrive in early April, it is obvious — based on the sizes of the latest titles in the series — that the remake of the legendary Final Fantasy VII is going to be big. According to a recent rumor that still has to be confirmed, this title will occupy over 100 GB of space after installation (with all available DLCs).

The RE remakes already seemed big enough for what content they contained, there seems to be really poor optimization of resources here, like how RE1 had all the cinematics in 3 different resolutions while it would be less than half the size if they only stored the highest quality version and played it back downsampled or something depending on the use case.
