AMD has silently unveiled the Radeon RX 6400 graphics card for US$159. It features 4 GB of 16 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM on a 64-bit bus, 12 compute units and a boost clock of 2,321 MHz. It will hit shelves starting today (April 20), with prices starting at US$159.

80% of the MSRP, 75% of the compute units, and I assume less than 75% of the performance of the 6500 XT because of lower clocks. Along with nerfed video decode/encode that makes it bad for HTPC. Yup, that's a stinker.

What's putting off miners isn't so much the amount of memory as the bandwidth. For coins that don't care that much about that, I'm betting simple processing power will be a deal breaker.
