Title: Redmi Note 8 owners should prepare for a long-haul update journey as October no longer looks viable for MIUI 12 arrival

Redmi Note 8 users around the globe are going to be disappointed by the latest MIUI 12-related messages issuing from Xiaomi HQ. While there seemed to be a few signs pointing to an October update for users of the Global or Indian Redmi Note 8, it now appears to be more likely that nothing will arrive before November.

I hope they jump directly to Android 11 and skipping 10. Meanwhile, just unlocked its bootloader and enjoy tremendous, various amazing custom rom that has been build upon A10.

I am a happy owner of hmn8 and thanks to the xiaomi.eu team I have the miui 12 with android 10 since July ...... no need to wait

i'm not expecting any more updates with redmi note 8. everything about the company and this phone is just disappointing. just let the phone die without any updates. xiaomi sucks.

This is a business module of Xaimoi...we should wait for miui 12.. nothing special in that update.. better' to stay with miui 11only.,😅😅😅😅

redmi is testing our patience again.  This is not for the good of Redmi.  redmi not8 is telling customers.  We have all decided to boycott Redmi's mobile.  Redmi will be expelled from India.

Das ist nicht ganz richtig,in Serbien auf einem Redmi Note 8 Pro Global model habe ich schon zwei monate lang das MIUI 12.

That is not the same device yours is the discount version with a mediatek processor which will not get Android updates because Mediatek don't support them.

xiaomi did the wrong step.. now peoples already selling their phone because of the miui 12 update was delayed, and i very dissatisfied using this brand again...
no more be an Xiaomi fans...
so terrible brand...
