Seven months after the release of Android Oreo, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is finally receiving the stable update to Android 8.0. Users in the US on Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile have gotten updates, with the story being similar in Australia.

100% cpu usage across 4 out of six cores since this update to the s8+. Battery drain at 2% per minute.  Top process is nova launcher but removal and/or disabling makes no difference.

Will have to manually roll back to an older rom and lose all of my data.

Thanks Samsung  if it ain't broke don't fix it.
