While the smartphone market is looking healthy, laptops and monitors are both facing weak demand in comparison.

I am just now looking to replace my Acer Travelmate bought in late 2009. Adding some extra memory and an SSD has given this laptop a few more years. So I am not surprised this market is saturated.
