US-Berichten zufolge hat sich Microsoft entschieden, mit Windows 8.1 aka Windows Blue wieder einen Startknopf zu bringen. Auch die Möglichkeit zum direkten Start auf den Desktop von Windows gilt als sicher. Das klassische Startmenü gibt es hingegen nicht mehr.
