Hardkernel has released its latest single-board computer (SBC), the ODROID-N2 Plus. Equipped with a new Amlogic S922X processor and up to 4 GB of RAM, Hardkernel claims that the ODROID-N2 Plus can offer twice the performance of a Raspberry Pi 4. The SBC is overclockable, too.

It's not claimed, you can connect to the Hardkernel testbed right now and run all the benchmarks you want on live hardware.

Wished this powerful low powered device that can replace my day to day Desktop PC can just run hevc (H.265) 10bit Videos on Ubuntu MATE Desktop as smooth as butter.
The problem is that all ARM devices /manufacturers don't support HEVC GPU hardware video acceleration on Linux even though the codec (and most other ones) is enabled in the hardware. They all depend on independent community users. In short ON YOUR OWN.
So lazy. Such a shame.
Been using amlogic chips for a while now.
But the quad core ones.
Anyone knows if the high performance cores are accessible?
On Android, only the lower performance cores are accessible, and the higher performance (big) cores are locked by android.
