Intel announced the Amber Lake-Y CPUs back at Computex in June, but core count or frequency details were not provided. Good thing, I don't understand how effective a fan blowing air through a heatsink really is. I would welcome more fanless Ultrabooks. Users are not doing heavy compute work on Ultrabook.
i dunno man...
increased tdp, slightly boosted max clock freq...
14++++++++++++++nm...
i was expecting this to be 10nm.
