Don't you think it is time to add a 1080p High to your benchmarks? There are plenty of 1080p laptops now, and only a very minimal amount of them can play Ultra on 1080p. Showing results of medium and High on 1080p would benefit much more laptop owners than just the 1080p Ultra results.
You people are so biased its unbelievable (You don`t even try to hide it), even an armature knows AMD GPU is well ahead of any comparable Nvidia GPU IN Tomb Raider
Most people are in the know about this site and its bias against AMD and the Pro stance for Intel and Nvidia.
Great benchmark article. I feel that the benchmark in the game was a little on the positive side since actual gameplay had lower FPS averages (such as the rainy/snowy scenes, Lara's hair with TressFX). @Notafan I don't see any bias in this article at all. Notebook Check does a great job at reviews and benchmarks. The small difference in Nvidia vs AMD frame rates is because I don't think TressFX was enabled for the tests. With TressFX enabled, AMD will pull far ahead of Nvidia (in addition to Tomb Raider being an AMD optimized game)
I find it hilarious that they used an i5 2400 for the AMD HD7970 (desktop) and then use an i7 2600k for the GTX 680. I've lost faith in this site.
Maybe that´s because the HD 7970 is in the home-PC of one editor and the GTX 680 is in the home-PC of another editor.
BTW it works wits a ancient double core PIV 3.4GHz and NVidia 7500 also.
At 800x600 usable fast and at 1280x1024 slow, but nice :)
Because classical chess game also does not need 1920x1080 resolution and 3D effects te results are mentioned fully acceptable ... (no need to change computer :)
I have a NVIDIA GeForce 660M and I can't run the game at more than 23 fps (on high presets), although it says here that it's supposed to be at around 48 fps. Help?
