Title: Google Pixel Fold: Dummy unit highlights ultra-thin design of Google's first foldable smartphone

A hands-on video has shown what to expect from the Pixel Fold and many of its important features. Google's first foldable smartphone bears a closer resemblance to the Oppo Find N and Find N2 than the Galaxy Z Fold4, with a more compact design and no gap when the device is folded shut.

Why is nobody, especially designers, addressing the functionality of OPENING fold phones? It is an accident waiting to happen. Even in this video you see him fumbling to get the phone open. A slight indent would make a huge difference. I returned the z fold because it was too hard and to risky to open. Looks like it will be the same for the pixel. Too bad. Otherwise I like the thinness, because who wants to carry two phones in their pocket, another problem with the Sammie fold!
