I'm sure that when we discover battery with 1000x capacity of current ones, charging will be also faster. Thats probably more important than charging, in case there is no wireless charging over few meters, and for now there isn't.
As soon as I saw the word "college" in the article, I knew. This tech won't be here for another 5+ years.
Way too much tech in its infancy before become part of the news story.
