Business giant 17-inch laptops are rare in the business sector. Thus, it is all the more pleasing that HP offers an especially well-conceived model in its portfolio in form of HP's ProBook 470 G4. Read in our report why it does not have any serious competition far and wide.

Great review! Congrats! Given that for me the display is very important, i would like to know what is the excatly model in question because in Italy on the hp store does not specified that the panel is an ips. Every probook 470 g4 is equipped with an ips? For the 450 probook g4 is the same? I'm a bit confused.
Can it be connected to 4k 60ghz display or it is only that sample model that doesn't have required interface?

Do they state UWVA (for Ultra Wide Viewing Angle)? That's what HP usually says nowadays. It is probably an IPS panel in practice.
shame the keyboard does not have a backlight
1. Keyboard does have a backlight
2. Spare HDD slot does not seem to work with drives other than HP ones. tried a samsung 850 evo and does not get recognised. Assuming its locked somehow. Happy to be corrected on this but I gave up after 4 hours. Spoiled my experience totally.
Update: Spare 2.5" HDD slot works fine after BIOS update. Five stars now :)
HI All,
A warranty of 3 years for a product which would not exceed 750€ in all Europe would be a minimum. 800€ for a 5 years warranty.
If it is too just for hp, they can remove: " TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100 (1000 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA-II ".
The screen of 16/9 and not 16/10. :-)
You work all on You Tube now?
Happy Day!
Hi,
You have right Goldy XP. ;)
The HP ClickPad is a trainwreck of an input device. If you use a USB mouse, you could get by with this machine, but the touchpad is virtually unusable. It is way to sensitive and a big and accidentally gets brushed while you are typing causing the cursor to jump around in maddening fashion. The right click feature is inconsistent an irritating to use. Since this is the main interface with the computer besides the keyboard, any other redeeming qualities are moot. Avoid any HP laptop with a ClickPad. You've been warned.
Dear Sir,
I am very please to read this report and it is highly important and helpful to person like me who has little knowledge of information and computer technology intended to purchase a laptop.
Thanks for the help.
