The GE65 is 19 percent smaller and 12 percent lighter than the outgoing GE63 while retaining all the same ports and most physical features. It's one of the lighter 15.6-inch gaming laptops you can buy from MSI outside of the GS65.

dim, loud as hell. useless.
The battery placed in the hottest part of the case, surrounded by heatsinks and cooling pipes. This is not just a sub-optimal solution, this is a serious engineering error ignoring basic design rules and shortening the battery life.
Expensive as hell, ugly dim display and the worst part annoyingly loud.
Why is this rated at 85% again.

see? they, oem and media both, dont care about screens and cooling. size and weight-this is the narrative!
Allen Ngo, Stop to hide Packages Power readings in HWMonitor. We don't need the temperature readings for each core or any other unnecessary information. >:( >:( >:( >:(
one of the worst reviews ive read. the amount of comparisons with that goddamn ge63 notebook is eye popping

How the
fuk is the GE65 better than the GE63 (besides ram, but you can always upgrade it)?
Thick bezels? Why the f*** are people literally shitting their pants over BEZELS???!!! you wont even pay attention to them when using the laptop! (oh and on the GL65 thin bezels, you can't insert the actually good N156HHE-GA1 120Hz TN panel inside).
The worst part is that a cooling vent was blocked on the right, causing worse thermals.
What MSI needs to improve on is battery life and their thermal paste (because the thermal paste they use leads to their cooling solution being wasted on horrible thermal paste).
Also, sure it's IPS and covers 90% sRGB, but the TN panel N156HHE-GA1 covers 100% and 89% aRGB, something that no 1080p laptop panel, IPS or TN (besides ChiMei themselves) can EVER ACHIEVE
