The Sony WH-1000XM5 has leaked again, confirming that the WH-1000XM4 successor will feature longer battery life and a significant redesign. Purportedly, Sony has also made other changes, such as new drivers and ANC improvements.

Ok, but will they be able to be used while charging?

This is the single biggest flaw with Sony headphones, when that critical meeting starts and you realise you left them on all night and they are out of battery.

With Sennheiser you just plug them in and get on with it.

Ridiculous to follow BOSE and the rest (Apple?) and stop the folding mechanism. Who wants to carry a pouch twice the size of the previous one?
