I am using a Xonar DS on PCI (old-school PCI). No other issues than the usual that I get from those drivers that Asus never cares about. So sad to hear that those using onboard audio get even worse...

I had Windows 10 Pro on my decade-old Asus K70AB (RM-75, 320 GB damn slow HDD, 4 GB of memory) and I must say it ran like a charm, given the hardware. Better than Windows 7 or around the same level. I switched to Linux Mint in the meantime due to non-Windows-related reasons. Regarding the telemetry... just switch it off. :)
