Old packaging, new content. Lenovo wants to attract users looking for the highest possible performance for as little money as possible with the new Ideapad Z510 series . The Z510 comes with a Haswell CPU, a GeForce GPU and a matte full HD display for about 700 Euro. Our review reveals whether the Ideapad is only convincing on paper or also in practice.

what will performance between this z510 and Lenovo Ideapad Z500 (59-380463) which has gt 740 2gb graph in terms of gaming ??
I just bought the z510a with the 1366*768 and find it rather difficult to read text on it due to it's grainy look and low contrast, currently I consider to either change it for the glossy or FullHD one. Does the FullHD display have the same issues?
To add to my previous post, fonts (especially on the Web) seem very thin and a bit grainy, which is quite hard to read... Other than that, I really like it so I wonder if switching to FullHD would solve the issue...
hard to maintain! what does it exactly mean ??
Make review analog Z510 with Radeon 8750, and compare them in analog games. What be better: 740M 64 bit or R8750 128 bit? Notebooke reviews at this web with 740m and R8750 tests in different games. Need compare this GPUs in analog games and with analog sistem hardwore config
Lenovo G510 have analog config with R8750, test it pls
bhrgrv i agree with you ;)
If you play when your Z510 is in charge you can set graphic on ultra with no problem and with hich Fps.
can't get it: why the screen is a pro if you say that it is bluish and with low contrast?
Mi portatil es el Lenovo Z510 con el Core I7 4702MQ, 16 Gb Ram, 1 Tb + 8 SSD, GeForce 740M, Intel 4600, 1920x1080 mate y teclado retroiluminado. Es una pasada!!!!
The screen contrast is very poor...and the "white" colour is indeed bluish. Letters seem to be very thin and grainy...
Bought Z510 and had to return it.
Purchased z510 on 24 jun & on 4 july after ten days machine turn off . Not started again report my complaint on care. After two days engg came & says motherboard is dead. Need replacement . Why I change mother8 within yen days of purchase. I request for my money back. But rply from company after many complaint . I waste my 53500 rupees on a wrong brand/ machine & facing problems from 6 days. Don't purchase anyone this. Where is the no 1 brand . Total fake only Chinese .
I bought the z510 on may. Its a pretty awesome laptop. But i keep facing problems with the web cam. The only disadvantage of this laptop is the ram is a bit low. Otherwise for its price its pretty neat. Contrast and all is good.
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 Intel Core i5-4200M. I am running Windows Experience Index and its result is 3.8 (because of processor). Is it normal or is there something wrong. Because it come little low to me.
Hey folks....Everyone alive ....oopss i mean everyone's laptops are alivee...???
Mine is kindoff dead because the battery is no more ..... :(.
Just after one year exactly when the warranty period got over laptop (Z510 Lenovo) started acting wired. One fine day even after charging for hours the laptop isn't turning on.
After sometime i came to know that the battery is not charging anymore.. :o
After spending more that 50000 thousand rupees it dint even work good more that one year.
Do not spend money in such kind of laptop, especially the ones with inbuilt battery like Z510.
I am using lenovo ideapad Z510 for last two years. Excellent performance. I have daily development tasks(visual studio, dreamweaver) and graphics creation (photoshop, illustrator). Sound is good. No hang. I have upgraded to Win 10. Overall satisfied. I have taken 2 more year external warranty.
dont buy inbuild battery laptops
Worst computer ever!. Right from new, it had problems. Hangs, crashes and rund like donkey. Eventually the Harddisk crashed and lenovo replaced the HDD. it's better since, but still hangs and erratic performance. Useless for anying other than browsing. Now the extended warranty period is over and it is crashing every now and then. Won't be buying another Lenovo.
