Microsoft has confirmed that you must use Windows 11 for x64 emulation on ARM chipsets. For some reason, the company has decided to drop Windows 10 on ARM, which has supported x64 emulation for nearly a year.

For some reason...hahaha.
The reason is people don't wanna jump to windows 11, so they give you incentives. Technically, they can add ALL the features from windows 11 to windows 10, but they don't want to, cause it would be free. Making you move to W11 will mean making more money, hence these limitations...
just like they limit your freedom if you don't get vaxxed. your opinion matters, officially, but unofficially it doesn't, because if you don't get the vax, you don't have the fundamental rights anymore, hence your opinion doesn't matter and it is mandatory. How nice is the new world!

At least the vaccine is free - here, anyway. Windows 11 probably won't be, because the hardware requirements mean buying a new PC unless you had one recently. Which of course helps its hardware partners, but unfortunately will mean consigning some working hardware to landfill.
