Who says thin gaming laptops have to sacrifice battery life? MSI has expanded the internal battery capacity for its thinnest gaming laptop to the legal limit. Nonetheless, we'll have to test the battery life ourselves to see how much of a difference the larger battery will actually make.

I hate this trend of thin laptops, I bought into that awhile ago and never again. Thin laptops overheat quickly and gaming gets glitchy. A good thick gaming chasse with proper vents is the way to go. True mobile gamers should never go for thin.
Do I spy one type-C port on each side of this laptop, in addition to type-A ports? Fantastic!
The one issue I have had with MSI performance laptops is that their type-C support is lacking... I'm happily using my Asus Zephyrus M GU502GW with a 60W type-C charger while traveling--I wouldn't bear it with a gargantuan power brick.
Being mobile and being thick is not compatible. This trend of mobile and thin laptops with high performance is what the industry demands. I have a Gigabyte Aero 15X and it is just amazing.
