Nio loses court battle over ES6, ES7 and ES8 names that may be mistaken for Audi's S6, S7 and S8

In Germany, Audi's court case against the aspiring EV manufacturer from China has now ended in a victory for the luxury automaker with the famous four rings. In addition to the ES7, Nio will have to rename the ES6 and ES8 so German buyers won't confuse the all-electric SUV with the sporty Audi S6, S7 or S8.
