Apple had been kept off the top spot in the mobile devices market worldwide for the first 3 quarters of 2021. However, it shot back up to #1 for the year's final quarter (4Q2021), despite a slight drop in its share compared to 4Q2020. This success is attributed to the iPhone 13-series, even with its supply-chain issues.
