According to Google, the goal with Tensor was not to chase benchmarks but to focus on more real-world applications. Google indicated during the Pixel 6 launch event that Tensor uses two Cortex-X1 cores and a 20-core GPU among other on-die components. Google Tensor also sports an 8 MB system cache and 4 MB CPU L3 cache.
