Title: Full specs of OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite leaked
Post by: Redaktion on February 18, 2020, 17:53:51
A listing on the Giztop web store (now removed) revealed the full specifications of the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite. While the listing should be taken with a grain of salt, the specs coincide with prior rumors and leaks. Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. However, the OnePlus 8 Lite will opt for the MediaTek MTK Dimensity 1000. Other specifications (listed below) are decidedly flagship-level.

Definitely disappointed if the standard ($550) doesn't have the telephoto. The 7T had all 3 lenses, so I assume the next ones would be the same. Not sure if I should grab the 7T at its current discount ($499) or wait for the 8T and see if they fix this.

Exactly what I think. The $550 model lacking telephoto is not good. In India at least, I can get Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite for $550 (Rs.39,000) and it has all 3 - telephoto, ultrawide and main and 4500 mah battery, 25W charging although the Exynos 9810 is much slower than Snapdragon 865. You win some, you lose some.

And it's about time OnePlus got Wi-Fi 6.

8 Pro is a hard sell at $799.

It'd be really nice if the 8 didn't have a curved screen.  Need more flat screen options.

I totally agree with you, the rounded edges are a source of frustration sometimes. I preferred my 1+6 model to the 7 because of that. I also think we should have an audio jack back.
