HMD Global has come up with an official response on the issue of its devices sending sensitive user data to Chinese servers. While the company's reasoning appears sound, it's still a tad appalling that something of this sort is associated with the Nokia brand, especially considering the hardware and software issues the company's devices have been accused of having over the past year.

Seriously, the line from notebookcheck about this Nokia/HMD syphoning of sensitive personal data is that they don't think that "oh we're sorry it was a mistake for our dictatorial and controlling government from a different country" is anything less than the suppressive and disgusting act of a state enslaving it's people...and we're meant to think that's acceptable!?!?! Despicable! Good god, did Europe not learn nothing after the third Reich and that disgusting dictator?
