Netflix has launched better quality streaming through AV1 for selected TVs and the PlayStation 4 Pro. Benefits for Netflix subscribers include using less bandwidth at higher resolutions and fewer noticeable drops in streaming quality.

The PS4 Pro has H.265 4K decode, but not AV1 obviously. I guess software decoding is enough?
