Title: Xiaomi's new OLED TV is transparent and costs a numbing US$7,200

After the release of the 65-inch Mi TV Master Series last month, Xiaomi is back with its second OLED TV yet. The new Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition is, well, transparent, and probably does a great job of looking really cool. If you can afford the US$7,200 MSRP, that is.

"Brightness (Typ.): 400 nits (APL 25%, without Glass)"
...That is pathetic for something of this price. LG's definitely, but Xiaomi's is not fundamentally different, they're in the same price bracket, and that's the highest one for home use. The Wall is business oriented.
400nits brand new means highly questionable viewing quality a couple years later considering this is OLED and comes with its degradation. This is also as sensitive if not more sensitive to ambient light than projectors.
Actually, one of the reasons the brightness is so poor is likely that its light is cast in both directions, with the other half producing a useless inverted image...

Watching this TV feels like looking through a window into another world altogether. The TOLED tech combined with the mediatek chip is a magical combo.
