The Redmi Note 8, Redmi K20, and their Pro variants will join a list of nine Xiaomi smartphones that will become end-of-life (EOL) products in late November. While bug fixes and stable release updates may still be available for these phones, there will be no more beta development pursued for these popular but aging devices.

Well, time to install a custom rom then
:( Never had a good experience with software updates on my Redmi Note 8. Probably the worst. Leave aside all those annoying and irrelevant bugs and glitches that forever remained to be even acknowledged. If for the software experience, I'll definitely not recommend a Xiaomi device to anyone until they rectify their mistakes. >:(
