The IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is one of the few Ultrabook-size laptops with a Core H-series CPU instead of the usual Core-U series for more processing horsepower. However, it's the 90 Hz 1800p display that has us more impressed than the Core i7-11370H processor itself.

It never NEEDS to be loud. If it does get LOUD, that is a failure from the manufacturer. But nice attempt at spin.
Glossy laptop screens should be banned. period.
You should get the ThinkBook 13s, AMD version with the 5800u, gen 3 and give us a review of a more affordable laptop. This is the sweet spot in Lenovo's lineup
Bought the laptop (i7-11370H) from a local vendor after reading the review. I'm not a fan of Lenovo software, so I ran Windows 11 installer from flash drive to wipe and reinstall Windows fresh almost immediately. It was a bit annoying to do since there are not drivers for the trackpad, so an external mouse helped during the install.
Once everything was back up and running, Windows found all the necessary drivers and I was able to tell them to install. I told Windows to install all the extra drivers and all the hardware started working fine.
Everything worked great, but games were a bit unstable and would crash after a few minutes, so I went and grabbed the latest GPU drivers from Intel and now Forza Horizon 4 runs like a champ. Had to manually crank up the display to 90 Hz, but once I did, it runs buttery smooth, looks fantastic, and no stability issues at this point.
Beta channel version of Windows 11 allows for the HDR video setting to be enabled where support on the public release channel was buggy and would magically find HDR video supported only after momentarily connecting and disconnecting an external display. I attribute this bugginess to Windows. I checked the HDR settings before my fresh install of Windows and the situation was no different.
System is mostly ultra-responsive, especially once you remove the unnecessary startup items from Windows 11, like Teams and OneDrive. I'm seeing impressive performance from Adobe, Office, and Chrome, easily competing with a Ryzen 2700 desktop with 16 GB in terms of productivity, even while running multiple displays.

I am thinking of getting the costco version of this (probably the same battery life as you). How is the battery with 90hz and 60hz and does the weight bother you?

Yeah, never let physics get in the way when it comes to heat and cooling!
And glossy screens are preferred by many. But if you think it's all about you, carry on!
Guys, how about missing HDMI, do you miss it when need to connect to external monitors?
