The Huawei P40 has arrived for a review. We immediately went and tried the camera and the results are once again convincing.

The camera switching behavior is weird, and, please do acknowledge the crop of the main camera, it's a 50MP ~23mm equiv. module operating at ~28mm in 12.5MP mode, so there's a constant crop, not all 50MP from the typ. 1/1.28" sensor is used.

Oh, and with your discovery for detecting lens switching, it would be very interesting to see if going from 28mm to 23mm equiv. on the interface uses the UWA or the main.
