The mobile device OEM Honor is projected to launch an Android flagship with the Snapdragon 888 processor that can charge at up to 100 watts (W) in 2021. A Weibo user has posted what appears to be a power brick intended to support the latter. This accessory is rumored to come in the box with the upcoming phone.

100W through USB A? That's from Qualcomm...? Sounds like more proprietary crap, no other protocol would pass anywhere near 100W through USB A, so the single A port on that charger is wasted charging any device using universal protocols, and yet these 1st parties still refuse to add more ports, or occasionally they do but the results are more cumbersome than refined 3rd party options.

I could be wrong here, maybe sticking to one of those refined 3rd party options would be a better choice, for you.

Seems an odd choice granted, yes,if it works as intended with it's specific partnering products job done,if I dont like the balance of pro's and con's of proprietary products I dont buy them.
