Dell Precision 3550 und 3551 teilen sich ihr Design, aber nicht die Prozessoren. Eins basiert auf Comet-Lake-U, das andere auf Comet-Lake-H. Beide wird es optional mit einem Pointing-Stick geben, was sie im diesjährigen Dell Precision Lineup einzigartig macht: Dell bietet dieses Feature bei den teureren Precision 7000 nämlich nicht mehr an.
