The Core i5-8265U brings just marginal performance benefits by up to 12 percent at best over the last generation Core i5-8250U or Core i7-8550U. Users who want the latest XPS 13 should be drawn in by the re-positioned webcam and not by the new Intel Whiskey Lake-U processors.

I had the 9370 for about 2 weeks before I returned it. Awesome ultra book but a dead pixel and frequent wifi issues with the killer wireless card was a deal breaker. Dell has a 2-in-1 that offers similar performance, although no thunderbolt in a 14" form. The Dell 5482 model. It has the i5-8265u and the whole laptop is upgradable. You can add more RAM, an extra 2.5" SSD and even swap out the wifi card if you want. At $899 CAD on sale it is the better buy if you dont need 13.3" or a 4k display.
