So hab ichs vorher gemacht, Konsole war weg! War bei mir auch generell immer so wenn ich die Exe-Datei ausgeführt habe. Deswegen mach ichs nach meinem Weg...

Mal was anderes. Warum hat Toshiba das 1.6er BIOS von seiner Page genommen? Abgesehen davon dass die Lüfter 3mal soviel laufen und es in punkto Performance gar nix gebracht hat gibt es doch gar keinen Grund dafür.

Habe gerade mit Toshiba teleniert

naja und wenn man eh schon mit denen Spricht hab ich Ihn mal auf die Sache mit dem Bios angesprochen:

"Ja das Bios kann man nicht mehr runterladen, nein ein Changelog zu 1.60 ist nicht verfügbar, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass das von der Seite runtergenommen wurde, weil eine neue Version erscheint"

Naja Hotlines eben, hab mal nen Reminder auf 1 Woche gestellt und ruf dann da nochmal an =)

Original Toshiba Treiber wurde wieder installiert (und alle alten originaltreiber gelöscht) 59hz
Betatreiber --> 59hz
mal auf non PnP Monitor gestellt --> 59hz

NVtweak kann nicht die Frequenz auf 60hz stellen (oder ich finde da keine Option)
Rivatuner könnte dies vllt. jedoch müsste ich die Monitorspezifikationen haben, da das Automatische auslesen per EDID nicht funktioniert.
Aber ich kan nun sagen das ich ein Samsung Display habe (SEC4750)

an die leute die die audiotreiber installieren. also ich hatte - unter xp - nachdem ich die alten original toshiba 1.69 audiotreiebr deisntalliert hab udn die 1,79er drauf gemacht hab' das problem, dass meien kopfhörerbuchse nicht mehr funktionierte.

wegen Bios: Ich habe auch das Gefühl das die Lüfter leiser sind. Vorher war es bei UT3 so, das diese mit 1.60 ständig auf maximum drehten.
Mit 1.50 hab ich das Gefühl das sie nur noch ab und zu so hochdrehen.
WoW merke ich den Lüfter gar nicht mehr und heute morgen bei Hellgate London, hab ich sie auch nicht gehört

Seit heute morgen ist nun auch die 1.80er Version erhältlich

Die Frage ist, ob neben den obenstehenden Änderungen noch undocumented changes stattgefunden haben.

P.S. hat eigentlich schon jmd. mal versucht nen Monitortreiber von einem 22" TFT zu verwenden? (die haben ja auch 1680x1050)

VORSICHT!!! Beim Download des 1.80 Bios kommt ein Hinweis, dass das Bios nur für Notebooks mit Vista ist!

ich geh mal davon aus, dass man das nur unter vista installieren kann. ein bios, was nur unter vista funktioniert/sein soll?!?! kann ich mir nicht vorstellen.

Die Idee, Vista einen Treiber von einem externen Monitor aufzuzwingen hab ich auch schon mal in den Raum geworfen. Bin leider bislang selber noch zu faul gewesen einen zu suchen ...
