Title: We should get ready for a boring Samsung Galaxy S9
Post by: Redaktion on November 22, 2017, 14:20:20
The Samsung Galaxy S9 could enter mass production next month and will leave drastic design changes aside, featuring a dual-camera setup, an improved processor, as well as a repositioned fingerprint reader. On top of these, we should also get ready for a 4-inch Galaxy S9 Mini.

Most flagships next year might not be worth it, given preliminary Geekbench results (yeah, I know GB is not the best measurement of overall processing power especially since it is RAM dependent also; Cinebench runs establish that better along with Prime95). But the differences between the 835 and 845 are going to be minimal. Qualcomm isn't moving to 7nm nor has increased the amount of cache or silicon used either.
