Title: Dell UltraSharp U2421E brings USB-C, Ethernet, and MAC address pass-through for seamless workspace connectivity

Dell has announced a new range of UltraSharp monitors starting with the U2421E. The U2421E is a FHD 60 Hz IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The U2421E offers a host of connectivity options including data, display, power, and MAC address pass-through through a single USB-C cable to the laptop.

Same here. WTF, 450$ for 1920x1200 is not doing it, Dell. 2K would have been perfect at this size

Glad to hear Dell is making use of the daisy chaining feature. It's very useful for laptops, but still rarely supported.

Need more QHD min, ideally 4k (yes even for 24 inch). FHD is not enough for this price point USB-C or not.

Would have been a perfect purchase to upgrade my monitor if it had a resolution of at least 2k. Such a shame

Does anybody know if there is a dedicated button or any other way to turn on the laptop? E.g. if I use my laptop with the lid closed. This monitor effectively replaces the USB-C docking stations. So AFAIK, the only thing missing here is the power button. I know it wasn't possible in the last generation, but perhaps Dell has come up with a solution this time.
