Title: Apple MacBook Pro: RAM upgrade now costs twice as much for the 13-inch model
Post by: Redaktion on June 01, 2020, 15:20:42
It now costs twice as much to upgrade the entry-level MacBook Pro 13 from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM. RAM prices remain unchanged on other Apple products though, and the increase makes the Ice Lake MacBook Pro 13 just US$100 more expensive than a comparably-equipped Coffee Lake model.

"Cynically then, the change in RAM pricing for the entry-level model could be to drive sales of Apple's more expensive SKUs." - 100% agreed.

Btw the MBP 2020 review should have been already out (mentioned in 1 article on this site). When can we expect that? Thank you.

It's OK, Apple buyers can take it. Bring it on, Apple!

Nobody will pay 200 dollar for 2133 8gb of ram in 2020. It is impossible.
