Lenovo showed off four new monitors at CES today. The star of the display show is the ThinkVision Creator Extreme, a professional-grade mini-LED monitor that boasts 1000 nits of brightness and is HDR1000 certified. The Creator Extreme's 4K panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Lenovo also announced three other consumer-grade monitors.

How come no manufacturer realizes the need a for a 30"/32" 4K 16:10 [3840x2400] or a 50"-60" 21:9 which doubles a 4K [7860x2160]?? High ends cards support it! not all screens are expected to be for media consumers...
And enough with these old resolutions! I bought my first 2560x1440 back in 2008 so how come this resolution still exists in new screens? it's not that sharp! especially when it comes in a 27" [or larger] sized screens.
A simple progress [not even an innovation] is much needed, already, in this lazy department.
