Planet Computers has only just announced the Astro Slide 5G smartphone and pocket computer hybrid on Twitter and its Indiegogo campaign has already received more backing than the original goal. The Astro Slide is brimming with attractive features, including its transforming ability, super-fast MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset, full backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 capability, and 48 MP main camera.

Wow...would be a perfect "retro" horizontal slider with a proper digitizer like s-pen :)

Cool. A more powerful update to the Motorola Droid 4. Albeit with a larger screen, more power, more connection options. Looks like it really does operate like a mini Android tablet but in a smartphone form-factor.

*An included stylus (S-pen) would complete the package.

Yes, a spiritual successor to the Droid, I was quite disappointed that the market forced me to go keyboard-less because mashing at a full keyboard really is faster than any touch input.
