Title: Apple iPhone 15 Pro models may finally go notchless in favor of an under-display Face ID system
Post by: Redaktion on February 23, 2022, 10:26:29
The iPhone 15 Pro could be the first Apple smartphone to go completely notchless, if rumor on the street is to be believed. The speculation stems from reports that Apple has ceased all work on an under-display Touch ID for the iPhone 14 Pro in lieu of improved Face ID. The Cupertino-giant is expected to further develop Face ID to work with an under-display camera system and this technology could be ready in time for the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023.

Lol. "Leakers" and sophists alike have been saying this each year for the last 5 or so years that the next iteration of the iPhone will have under-display Face ID or Touch ID. I'm sure by the year 2030, the iPhone will.  :p

Ha. I guess nobody told you that Apple stopped working on the iPhone 14 about 3 years ago. Right now, they're working on the iPhone 18.
