Title: Sony Xperia 5 III with Snapdragon 888 produces +11% single-core gains over the Galaxy S21+ on Geekbench and condemns the Xperia 5 II to the also-rans pile

A recent Geekbench 5 record has been dug up for the Sony Xperia 5 III that shows the Snapdragon 888-powered compact-ish smartphone producing very healthy results, especially over its Xperia 5 II predecessor. The Xperia 5 III outgunned powerful rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Asus ROG Phone 3 in the single-core and multi-core tests.

The  next question is whether Sony could maintain that speed without throttling.

The x1 Pro use giant vapor chamber to maintain its heat, here's hoping sony did the same with x1 III
