The Apple iPhone and iPad are set to receive numerous AI features in a few months, bringing Apple up to speed with Google and Microsoft. Contrary to expectations, the more advanced functions will not be processed directly on the end device, but rather via an Apple M2 Ultra in Apple's servers.
